Privacy Policy
The short version
ChrysoKit runs entirely in your browser. We don't have a backend collecting your tool inputs. Anything you type, paste, upload or generate stays on your device. We do show ads through Google AdSense, and we use a cookie consent banner to honour your choice.
What we store locally
Some tools use your browser's localStorage to remember preferences (theme choice, favourite tools, recently used tools, habit-tracker entries, etc.). This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data will remove it. We also store your cookie-consent choice for up to 12 months so you don't see the banner on every visit.
What third parties may collect
- Hosting provider (Cloudflare): may log standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, timestamp) for security, abuse-prevention and uptime purposes.
- Google AdSense: serves ads on this site and may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies. See the dedicated section below.
- Affiliate links (where present) may set cookies when clicked.
Advertising and Google AdSense
ChrysoKit uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads. The following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
- Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland can additionally opt out of certain vendor cookies at www.youronlinechoices.com.

If you visit ChrysoKit from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before serving personalised ads or any non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the button below.
Cookies summary
- Essential / functional (always on): theme, favourites, recent tools, consent choice, in-tool state. Stored in localStorage on your device only.
- Advertising (only if you accept): set by Google AdSense for ad delivery, frequency capping and (with consent) personalisation.
Data controller
ChrysoKit is operated from Greece by its founder, Chrysovalantis Aintinidis. For any privacy matter you can make contact at chrysokit@chrysokit.com. Because the tools run in your browser, we do not operate a database of user accounts or tool inputs; the personal data involved is limited to what third parties (our host and our advertising partner) process as described above.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, data protection law gives you rights over personal data relating to you. These include the right to access, correct or erase your data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" button above. Since the advertising data is processed by Google, requests that concern ad personalisation are often best exercised directly through Google Ad Settings; for anything we control, email us and we will respond. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority).
Children's privacy
ChrysoKit is a general-purpose utility site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
